LOCATION
Villa “Liepa” is located in the heart of Birštonas, near the J. Basanavičiaus Central Square. Because of its ideal location you can have the use of all the advantages of the area. You will need only a couple of minutes of walking to reach the river Nemunas bank, the church of Birštonas, different sanatoria (Tulpės, Versmės, Eglės), exhibition and concert halls, shops, a bus station and a library. Despite the fact that villa “Liepa” is located in the city centre, our guests highly evaluate calm and silent surroundings. Your sleep will not be disturbed neither by passing cars, nor by noisy cafes and, in the morning, you will be able to enjoy lovely birds sounds.
HISTORY
A classic old wooden house where, now, you can find villa “Liepa” has a very long history. For more than 100 years, there was a linden tree next to the house, planted by a patriarch of one of the first families in Birštonas. Due to the renovation works, the linden tree, with-every-year-increasing risk of the danger for the security, had to be, unfortunately, cut. However, following an old tradition, a new linden tree has been planted. In remembrance of this hundred-year-old linden tree, the guest house is called “Liepa”, meaning “Linden tree”.
FACILITIES
In total, villa “Liepa” may welcome up to 12-14 guests. There are 5 cosy rooms on a newly built second floor where modern classics design is pleasingly combined with the classic and old house architecture elements. Each room has its unique colour palette. Every of them is equipped with a private bathroom, new and comfortable furniture, adjustable heating, a cable TV, Wi-Fi, bed sheets, towels, a hairdryer and free toiletries. For your well-being, every room is provided with day and night curtains. There is also an iron at your service. Villa “Liepa” has two rooms with balconies equipped with outdoor furniture. There is another room with wide panoramic window on three sides and vaulted ceilings. Our guests can use a free car park (7 vehicles maximum) and, if needed, leave their bikes and/or trolleys locked inside the hall of the building.
KITCHEN AND DINING ROOM AREA
All our guests are welcome to use a modern and fully-equipped kitchen and dining room area (18 m2). In the kitchen you can find everything you need for your comfort: a gas hob, an oven, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, pots, a toaster and all kind of dishes and cutlery for any event (big and small plates, wine and champagne glasses, jugs, cups, bowls, openers, etc.). In a dining area, there is a wide expandable table around which can sit up to 14 people. Dining area is in the southern side of the building, is bright and cosy having its panoramic window on three sides bringing in plenty of light. There you can also find a HD TV to watch your photos or films.
All the five rooms and the kitchen-dining area are an excellent choice for family celebrations or for a small business party. 8-14 people may stay in the rooms and spend their time in the common kitchen-dining area preparing their own food and having a great time together.
